Management Trainee – Marketing & Merchandise

About the role

We are looking for a high‑potential Management Trainee in Marketing & Merchandise to join a strategic talent development initiative within a leading apparel manufacturer. The role offers hands‑on exposure to marketing, merchandising, product development, market research and commercial operations, working closely with cross‑functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Gain exposure to marketing, merchandising, product development and commercial functions.
• Assist the merchandising team with customer requirements, product specifications and order details.
• Support market research, competitor analysis and trend monitoring.
• Prepare product and customer presentations, marketing materials and reports.
• Coordinate with design, sampling, production, quality, planning and sourcing teams.
• Participate in marketing campaigns, brand initiatives, trade events and industry projects.
• Research potential markets, customers and business opportunities.
• Support process improvement and digital initiatives within marketing and merchandising.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Fashion Management, Textile Management, Apparel Management or related field.
• Fresh graduates and post‑graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Prior exposure to fashion, apparel, textiles, merchandising, marketing or product development is an advantage.
• Strong interest in the fashion and apparel industry.
• Analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
