Logistics & Accounts Receivable Assistant (Remote – Sri Lanka)

About the role

We are seeking a highly organized Logistics & Accounts Receivable Assistant to join our team remotely from Sri Lanka. You will support shipment coordination and customer payment collection while working on Vancouver business hours.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate shipment bookings, delivery and pickup appointments with customers, carriers and partners.
• Prepare, review and maintain logistics documentation such as packing lists, commercial invoices, bills of lading and proof of delivery.
• Communicate with trucking companies to confirm schedules, status and documentation.
• Maintain accurate logistics trackers and follow up on missing information or delays.
• Monitor outstanding customer balances, payment due dates and collection priorities.
• Call customers to follow up on overdue or upcoming payments, obtain payment commitments and update the finance team.
• Escalate collection issues internally when necessary and keep detailed collection notes.

Required profile

• Fluent spoken English with clear pronunciation.
• Confident, persuasive phone communication and professional assertiveness.
• Strong sense of urgency, reliability and ability to work without repeated reminders.
• Excellent organization and follow‑through skills.
• Willingness to work overnight according to Vancouver business hours.
