Live-in Caregiver for Elderly Patient (24‑Hour)

About the role

We are seeking a compassionate live‑in caregiver to provide 24‑hour support for an 84‑year‑old bedridden lady. The role focuses on ensuring her safety, comfort and dignity while assisting with daily living activities in a private residence.

Key responsibilities

• Provide personal care including hygiene, grooming, dressing and mobility assistance.
• Prepare and serve nutritious meals according to dietary needs.
• Administer prescribed medication under family or healthcare professional guidance.
• Maintain a clean and organized bedroom and immediate living area.
• Offer companionship, emotional support and monitor health condition, reporting any changes to family.
• Perform light household tasks related to the client’s care.

Required profile

• Previous experience in elderly care, home care or nursing assistance (preferred).
• Ability to work independently, responsibly and with respect.
• Kind, patient and respectful attitude.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Fluency in Tamil (spoken and understood).
