Litigation Paralegal – UK Civil & Commercial Litigation

About the role

Teams Squared is seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal to support a client’s UK civil and commercial litigation practice. You will work remotely, managing a variety of contentious matters from initial instruction through to resolution, providing practical legal advice and ensuring compliance with court procedures.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and support a broad range of civil and commercial litigation matters.
• Advise clients on litigation strategy, risks, and remedies.
• Draft pleadings, particulars of claim, defenses, witness statements, applications and other court documentation.
• Conduct legal research and prepare clear, practical advice.
• Handle pre‑action correspondence, disclosure exercises, and organise evidence.
• Prepare hearing and trial bundles, chronologies and instructions to counsel.
• Liaise with clients, opposing solicitors, barristers, experts and courts.
• Monitor limitation periods, court deadlines and procedural requirements.
• Assist with settlement negotiations, mediation and other dispute‑resolution methods.

Required profile

• Bachelor of Laws (LLB), JD or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in UK civil or commercial litigation.
• Strong knowledge of the Civil Procedure Rules (CPR) and court procedures.
• Proven ability to draft high‑quality litigation documents.
• Excellent analytical, research and problem‑solving skills.
• Commercially minded with the ability to work independently.
