Lending Services Officer

About the role

The Lending Services Officer will join Global Lending Services and report to the Head of Trade Operations. The role is responsible for the pre‑processing of short‑term and long‑term loans and for managing all associated processes for products under Global Lending Services. The officer will also support the efficient execution of Trade Finance operations and handle the trade counter.

Key responsibilities

• Pre‑process short‑term and long‑term loan applications and ensure end‑to‑end processing compliance.
• Maintain and update process documentation, workflow diagrams and operating instructions.
• Identify and implement process optimisation and automation opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce risk.
• Collaborate with internal teams to drive operational excellence and meet service level targets.
• Act as first line of defence in risk management, adhering to internal policies and escalating issues as needed.
• Foster a collaborative, inclusive work environment and support the training of new team members.
• Ensure compliance with Group, local and regulatory policies and procedures.

Required profile

• Understanding of trade finance operations, loan products and client markets.
• Ability to work within defined service levels and accuracy standards.
• Proactive attitude towards identifying improvement opportunities and contributing actionable recommendations.
• Strong teamwork and knowledge‑sharing mindset.
