About the role
We are seeking an experienced legal professional to join our team as a Legal Manager in Katunayake, Sri Lanka. The role focuses on overseeing legal matters, ensuring compliance with regulatory frameworks, and supporting corporate governance initiatives. This position offers the opportunity to apply your expertise in securities regulations and corporate law at a managerial level.
Key responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) listing rules
- Apply corporate governance best practices across the organization
Required profile
- Attorney‑at‑Law qualification
- LLB from a recognized university (advantage)
- 5–7 years of active professional experience
- Strong understanding of SEC listing rules
- Exposure to corporate governance best practices
- Excellent legal, analytical, communication and decision‑making abilities
