Legal Executive (Fixed-Term Contract)

About the role

InQube is a global apparel innovation company that designs, incubates technology and executes at scale across multiple markets. The Legal Executive will provide day‑to‑day legal support and guidance to management and relevant departments on operational matters.

Key responsibilities

• Provide day‑to‑day legal support and guidance to management and relevant departments on operational matters.
• Review and comment on legal documents, agreements, contracts, letters and other business documentation.
• Identify potential legal risks and recommend actions to mitigate them.
• Draft, review, amend and maintain contracts, agreements, MOUs, NDAs and other legal documents.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external lawyers for contract negotiations and execution.
• Maintain an organized database and records of all agreements and legal documents.
• Monitor contract validity, renewal dates and key contractual obligations.
• Support HR in handling employee‑related legal matters, disciplinary inquiries and labour‑related issues.
• Maintain records of ongoing and potential legal cases involving the company.
• Ensure timely renewal and tracking of licences, agreements and other legal documents, and prepare periodic legal reports for management.

Required profile

• A qualified AAL of the Supreme Court of Sri Lanka with 1–2 years of relevant experience in a legal, corporate legal, commercial or manufacturing environment.
• A degree in law or other professional qualifications (advantageous).
• Exposure to the apparel/manufacturing industry is preferred.
• Prior experience in Secretarial Practice is a plus.
