- Analyze application performance across IFS tiers using APM and observability tooling, and build dashboards, alerts and SLO/SLI reports in Elasticsearch, Grafana and Open Telemetry tooling.
- Contribute to capacity planning, load and stress testing, and pre-upgrade or pre-release performance validation.
- Liaise with R&D and Unified Support Engineering on automation and knowledge sharing, and update internal Knowledge Base Articles and point out SOP improvements.
Required profile
- University degree or equivalent in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology or similar.
- At least 7+ years of experience in cloud computing services or enterprise IT delivery, including troubleshooting performance in production Oracle Database and enterprise application environments.
- Experience with modern ticketing tools such as ServiceNow or Jira Service Desk, and with ITIL, ISO 20000 or a similar framework.
- Ability to work to deadlines, in international cross-functional teams, and to mentor junior team members.
Required skills
- Oracle Database performance monitoring and troubleshooting (AWR/ASH/Statspack, wait event analysis, SQL tuning, Oracle Enterprise Manager).
- Understanding of cloud computing concepts and hands-on experience with cloud administration (Azure, AWS, GCP).
- Oracle Exadata and high-availability architectures (RAC, Data Guard, ASM).
- Application performance monitoring and observability tooling (Elasticsearch, Grafana, Open Telemetry, or Dynatrace, AppDynamics, New Relic, Prometheus).
- Linux server administration, web server administration (WildFly, WebLogic, Nginx), Kubernetes/Docker, and Bash/PowerShell/Terraform/Ansible scripting.
