Junior Video Content Producer

About the role

The Drawing Board is looking for a Junior Video Content Producer to join its creative team in Colombo. This full‑time, on‑site position supports the end‑to‑end production of video assets for digital and social platforms, turning ideas into compelling visual stories.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in pre‑production tasks such as concept development, storyboarding, and production planning.
• Support on‑set activities, including equipment setup, lighting, and coordination with talent.
• Manage and organize video assets, ensuring proper version control and archive maintenance.
• Perform basic editing, color correction, and export of final cuts for client review.
• Collaborate with strategy, design, and creative teams to ensure content aligns with brand guidelines and delivery timelines.

Required profile

• Enthusiastic about video production and eager to learn in a fast‑paced agency environment.
• Relevant education or training in film, media, communications, or a related field (preferred but not mandatory).
• Strong attention to detail, time‑management skills, and ability to receive feedback constructively.
• Good communication skills and a collaborative mindset.

Required skills

• Basic proficiency with video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro or Final Cut Pro.
• Familiarity with motion graphics tools (e.g., Adobe After Effects) is an advantage.
• Experience in content management, including file organization and version control.
