Junior Sales & Business Development Executive

About the role

Lakru Packaging is driving sustainable growth with innovative, eco‑friendly paper packaging solutions. We are seeking an energetic, self‑motivated Junior Executive – Sales & Business Development who can hit the ground running and be directly rewarded for closed deals and performance.

Key responsibilities

• Prospect, pitch, and onboard new B2B clients through direct outreach, telemarketing, and in‑person meetings.
• Manage end‑to‑end sales cycles from lead generation and quote presentation to negotiation and order closing.
• Maintain relationships with key corporate accounts to ensure repeat orders and long‑term retention.
• Identify new business opportunities, emerging market sectors, and competitor trends.
• Plan and execute digital marketing campaigns across Meta (Facebook/Instagram), LinkedIn, and WhatsApp Business to generate high‑intent B2B inquiries.
• Coordinate basic promotional content, visual creatives, and product showcases to elevate brand visibility.
• Track pipeline metrics, sales conversions, and weekly targets.

Required profile

• Minimum 1–2 years of proven hands‑on experience in B2B sales, field marketing, or client acquisition.
• Diploma or degree in Marketing, Business Management or related field (SLIM, CIM or university equivalent preferred).
• Proactive, target‑driven mindset capable of performing with minimal supervision.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Sinhala.
• Valid driving licence and own transport is an advantage for field visits.
