Junior Lecturer – Computing / Information Technology

About the role

The Asian Institute of Business and Science (AIBS) is seeking a Junior Lecturer to deliver high‑quality teaching to undergraduate and diploma students in Computing and Information Technology. You will support students throughout their learning journey and help keep curricula aligned with industry standards.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver lectures, tutorials and practical sessions for undergraduate and diploma programmes.
• Assist in module coordination, including assessment preparation, marking and maintaining academic standards.
• Provide academic guidance and mentorship for student coursework and projects.
• Contribute to curriculum development and continuous improvement.
• Participate in academic administration and departmental initiatives.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and integrate relevant advancements into teaching.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, IT, Information Systems, Data Science or a related field.
• At least one year of industry experience preferred; fresh graduates are also encouraged to apply.
• Strong understanding of programming and software development practices.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Passion for teaching, mentoring and supporting student development.
