Junior Executive – Sales & Business Development

About the role

Lakru Packaging is seeking an energetic Junior Executive to drive sales and business development for its eco-friendly paper packaging solutions. The role focuses on acquiring new B2B clients, managing the sales pipeline, and supporting account growth.

Key responsibilities

• Prospect, pitch and onboard new B2B clients through direct outreach, telemarketing and in-person meetings.
• Manage end-to-end sales cycles from lead generation, quoting, negotiation to order closing.
• Maintain relationships with key corporate accounts to ensure repeat orders and upselling.
• Identify new market opportunities, emerging sectors and competitor trends.
• Plan and execute digital lead-generation campaigns on Meta (Facebook/Instagram), LinkedIn and WhatsApp Business.
• Coordinate basic promotional content and product showcases to boost brand visibility.
• Track pipeline metrics, sales conversions and weekly targets.

Required profile

• 1–2 years of proven B2B sales or field-marketing experience, preferably in packaging, printing, FMCG or manufacturing.
• Strong negotiation, pitch and deal-closing abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication in English and Sinhala.
• Proactive, target-driven mindset with ability to work independently.
• Diploma or degree in Marketing, Business Management or related field.
• Valid driving licence or own transport is an advantage for field visits.
