Junior Executive – Sales & Business Development

About the role

Lakru Packaging is seeking an energetic, self‑motivated Junior Executive to drive sustainable growth through eco‑friendly paper packaging solutions. The role is focused on B2B client acquisition, pipeline management and delivering performance‑based compensation.

Key responsibilities

• Prospect, pitch and onboard new B2B clients via direct outreach, telemarketing and in‑person meetings.
• Manage end‑to‑end sales cycles from lead generation, quote presentation and negotiation to order closing.
• Maintain relationships with key corporate accounts to ensure repeat orders and long‑term retention.
• Identify new business opportunities, emerging market sectors and competitor trends.
• Plan and execute digital marketing campaigns on Meta, LinkedIn and WhatsApp Business to generate high‑intent B2B inquiries.
• Coordinate basic promotional content, visual creatives and product showcases to boost brand visibility.
• Track pipeline metrics, sales conversions and weekly targets through regular reporting.

Required profile

• Minimum 1–2 years of proven hands‑on experience in B2B sales, field marketing or client acquisition; experience in packaging, printing, FMCG or manufacturing is a strong advantage.
• Strong negotiation, pitch and deal‑closing capabilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Sinhala.
• Proactive, target‑driven mindset with ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Diploma or degree in Marketing, Business Management or equivalent; a valid driving licence or own transport is an added advantage.
