IT Support & Operations Associate

About the role

Rootcode is seeking a proactive and detail‑oriented IT Support & Operations Associate to manage the company’s IT infrastructure and support day‑to‑day administrative activities. You will be responsible for device procurement, onboarding, security compliance, and ensuring a smooth office environment.

Key responsibilities

• Procure laptops and accessories, obtain quotations, and coordinate purchases aligned with business needs.
• Set up, configure, and install software on new devices, providing a seamless onboarding experience.
• Maintain IT security practices in line with ISO 27001, including device compliance and access controls.
• Track IT assets, manage allocation, servicing, and disposal while keeping audit‑ready documentation.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network connectivity issues; coordinate with vendors for escalations.
• Support office facilities upkeep by liaising with internal teams, vendors, and service providers.

Required profile

• Diploma, HND or Bachelor’s degree in IT, Business Administration, Operations or related field.
• At least 1 year of experience in IT support, office administration or similar role.
• Strong organizational, communication and time‑management abilities.
• Ability to work independently, take ownership of tasks and meet deadlines.
• Willingness to work a half‑day on Saturdays (compensated with a weekday off).
