Investment Consultant

About the role

The Investment Consultant will work on‑site in Colombo, guiding both prospective and existing investors through Agro Ventures’ plantation investment opportunities. This role blends financial expertise with client relationship management to deliver clear, data‑driven investment advice.

Key responsibilities

• Assess investors’ financial goals and risk tolerance to recommend suitable agro‑investment products.
• Prepare detailed investment proposals, financial models, and performance projections for plantation projects.
• Present investment strategies and expected returns to clients in an understandable format.
• Maintain ongoing communication with investors, providing regular updates on project progress and addressing inquiries promptly.
• Collaborate closely with operations and finance teams to ensure accurate reporting and a seamless investor experience.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business or a related field; professional certifications are a plus.
• Relevant experience in investment advisory, financial consulting, or similar roles; exposure to agribusiness or impact investing is advantageous.
• Strong analytical ability to evaluate investment opportunities and assess risk‑return profiles.
• Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills with a focus on investor satisfaction.
• Willingness to work on‑site in Colombo and manage multiple client accounts simultaneously.
