International Business Development Executive

About the role

The International Business Development Executive will work on‑site in Dehiwala, driving Formix’s expansion into new international markets. You will identify opportunities, build client relationships and support the delivery of our global talent solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct market research and generate qualified leads across target regions.
• Prepare and deliver proposals, presentations and sales pitches to prospective clients.
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth onboarding and service delivery.
• Maintain an accurate sales pipeline and track performance metrics.
• Contribute to strategic planning for market entry and represent Formix at industry events.

Required profile

• Proven experience in international business development, preferably within recruitment, staffing or B2B professional services.
• Strong market research, lead generation and stakeholder management abilities.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, International Relations or a related field is preferred.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, target‑driven environment with strong negotiation skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CRM tools.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office or similar productivity software.
