Internal Audit Analyst

About the role

The Internal Audit Analyst supports the corporate governance framework by executing audit programs across performance, financial, and compliance domains. Working independently, the analyst applies professional judgment to assess internal controls, ensure SOX compliance, and contribute to continuous improvement of operational efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Assist senior analysts in evaluating the design and effectiveness of internal controls related to financial reporting, operations, and compliance.
• Identify compliance risks, recommend procedural enhancements, and monitor remediation activities.
• Execute internal audit and SOX review programs, including testing of controls and documentation of results.
• Coordinate external audit reviews of internal controls over financial reporting.
• Prepare draft audit reports and propose resolutions for identified findings.
• Conduct special investigations and reviews on internal audit and control compliance issues as required.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of internal or external audit experience, with at least 1 year preferably from a Big 4 CPA firm.
• Experience in the gaming or hotel industry is an advantage.
• Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or related field; CPA finalist or student member preferred.
• Additional professional audit qualifications are a plus.

Required skills

• Knowledge of risk‑based audit methodology.
• Understanding of IT application and general controls.
• Familiarity with the COSO internal control framework.
• Awareness of SEC reporting requirements and SOX compliance.
