Intern - Data Analysis and Research

About the role

This internship offers hands‑on experience in building data pipelines and supporting marketing intelligence for a fast‑growing business development team. You will work closely with the research function to turn commercial, digital and freight data into actionable insights.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain data pipelines that consolidate commercial, digital, and freight data into a centralised marketing intelligence dashboard.
• Support the creation of structured data models by integrating CRM, trade‑lane, and digital analytics data.
• Identify data‑quality issues and help design automated validation checks.
• Conduct competitive research on marketing activities, content and search visibility across key freight verticals.
• Monitor market conditions, including port disruptions, regulatory changes and geopolitical developments, and prepare briefings for the content team.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or currently completing a degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Supply Chain, Economics, Information Systems or a related field.
• Programming experience in at least one language, preferably Python.
• Fundamental understanding of databases and ability to write basic SQL queries.
• Strong communication and presentation skills with excellent attention to detail.
