Insurance Executive

About the role

Amana Takaful PLC is seeking a full‑time Insurance Executive to join its Gampola branch. The role focuses on understanding customers' protection needs, presenting suitable Takaful products, and guiding them through the policy enrollment process.

Key responsibilities

• Engage with customers to assess their insurance requirements and recommend appropriate Takaful solutions.
• Provide clear information on product features, premiums, and coverage terms.
• Process policy documentation, handle premium collections, renewals, and maintain accurate records.
• Support claims‑related activities and ensure compliance with company procedures and regulatory standards.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external insurance partners to resolve client inquiries.
• Conduct follow‑up calls, nurture client relationships, and participate in local marketing or outreach initiatives to expand the customer base.

Required profile

• Strong communication skills and the ability to persuade clients.
• Good knowledge of Islamic Takaful principles and financing.
• Prior experience in insurance, Takaful, banking, or financial services.
• Minimum six passes in G.C.E. O/L, including Mathematics.
• Willingness to work on odd days and be based near Gampola, Gelioya, Nawalapitiya, Ulapane, or Matale.
• Age 18 or older.
