Instructional Designer

About the role

Riskonnect is looking for an Instructional Designer to shape the quality, consistency and effectiveness of digital learning across the Riskonnect Academy. You will work closely with business leaders, product teams, subject matter experts and digital learning developers to create impactful learning experiences for a global SaaS organization.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with business units, product teams and SMEs to identify learning needs and define appropriate solutions.
• Establish and maintain instructional‑design standards, templates and AI‑supported development practices for the training team.
• Review course structures, scripts, storyboards, assessments and completed content to ensure quality, consistency and alignment with business objectives.
• Coach and support Digital Learning Developers in applying instructional‑design principles.
• Lead the design and development of complex, high‑priority or strategic learning initiatives.
• Use learner feedback, survey data and assessment results to evaluate content effectiveness and recommend improvements.
• Stay up‑to‑date with AI, instructional design and digital‑learning technologies and suggest enhancements.

Required profile

• Strong written and spoken English with the ability to simplify complex information.
• At least three years of experience in instructional design, learning design, eLearning or a related field.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline or equivalent practical experience.
• Deep knowledge of instructional‑design principles, learning objectives, assessment design and adult‑learning practices.
• Proven ability to work with SMEs and translate complex product or business information into effective learning solutions.
• Excellent stakeholder‑management, problem‑solving and organisational skills.
