Human Resources Business Partner – Colombo

About the role

Our employees need thoughtful and reliable People support throughout their experience with Loop1. As the Human Resources Business Partner in Sri Lanka you will own local HR and People Operations, providing clear guidance, consistent processes and a positive employee experience.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full employee lifecycle from onboarding through off‑boarding, coordinating onboarding, probation, performance, leave, benefits and documentation.
• Own the accuracy and timely completion of People Operations inputs for Sri Lanka payroll, working with the Finance and payroll resource.
• Maintain HRIS records, employee files and recurring deadlines, and guide managers on policies and practices.
• Coordinate recruitment activities and transition accepted offers into employment documentation and onboarding.
• Lead employee engagement programmes and workplace‑culture initiatives in Sri Lanka, aligning with the Country Director and Global People Operations Manager.

Required profile

• Broad HR or People Operations generalist experience with ownership of employee‑lifecycle activities.
• Practical talent‑acquisition experience, including role intake, candidate coordination and offer hand‑off.
• Experience maintaining HRIS records and coordinating payroll inputs, benefits and performance processes.
• Sound judgment handling confidential employee matters and knowledge of Sri Lankan employment practices.
