HR Executive

About the role

We are seeking an HR Executive to join our fast‑growing software development startup. The role will support the entire employee lifecycle, from attracting talent to ensuring smooth daily HR operations, helping us build a collaborative and innovative workplace.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate recruitment activities, conduct interviews and manage onboarding for new hires.
• Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation.
• Assist with payroll preparation, attendance tracking and leave management.
• Implement and enforce company policies while ensuring compliance with labour legislation.
• Drive employee engagement initiatives, including team‑building events and recognition programs.
• Respond to employee queries, escalating issues when necessary.
• Support the planning and delivery of training and development programmes.
• Provide general administrative support to keep HR operations running efficiently.

Required profile

• Knowledge of HR processes and basic understanding of labour laws (advantageous).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Strong organisational and time‑management skills.
• Proactive, problem‑solving mindset with the ability to multitask.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
• Familiarity with HR software platforms.
