HR & Admin Manager

About the role

The Human Resources & Administration Manager will lead all HR, administration and selected IT‑related support functions for Sika Lanka, a subsidiary of the global specialty chemicals group. The role ensures compliance with Sri Lankan labour legislation, supports business growth and creates an inclusive, high‑engagement workplace.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and maintain HR policies and procedures in line with local labour laws (Shop and Office Employees Act, TEWA, EPF/ETF, Wages Boards Ordinance) and global standards.
• Design and execute HR strategies that align with business objectives and promote diversity, equity and inclusion.
• Drive employee engagement initiatives, fostering a strong sense of belonging and high performance.
• Act as a trusted advisor to management on employee relations, performance management, disciplinary actions and organisational development.
• Oversee administration and selected IT support functions to ensure smooth daily operations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Management or a related field (Master’s degree or HR certification is a plus).
• Professional HR qualification (CIPM Sri Lanka, SHRM or equivalent) is advantageous.
• Minimum 5 years of progressive HR and Administration experience, preferably in a multinational or multicultural environment.
• Hands‑on experience in talent acquisition and HR operations.
