Heating Air Conditioning Technician

About the role

MindPlus (Pvt) Ltd is seeking a full‑time Heating Air Conditioning Technician to join its on‑site team in Sri Lanka. You will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing HVAC systems in residential and commercial environments, ensuring comfort, safety, and compliance with regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve issues in heating, ventilation, and air‑conditioning equipment.
• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on HVAC installations.
• Carry out installations and repairs, including related plumbing tasks.
• Document work performed and communicate findings and recommendations to clients.
• Coordinate with team members to deliver timely service and maintain a safe work environment.

Required profile

• Strong troubleshooting ability for HVAC systems.
• Competence in plumbing tasks associated with HVAC work.
• Experience with preventive maintenance practices.
• Knowledge of electrical safety and handling of HVAC electrical components.
• Understanding of EPA or equivalent environmental standards.
• Relevant technical certification or vocational training in HVAC, mechanical, or electrical fields.
• Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams, manuals, and service documentation.
• Good communication skills and a customer‑focused attitude.
