Head of Sales Operations

About the role

Olanka Travels is seeking a dynamic Head of Sales Operations to lead and optimise its sales organisation across multiple locations. Based in Nugegoda, this full‑time, on‑site position will drive revenue growth, operational excellence and high‑performing sales teams.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the Sales Operations function across all sales teams.
• Drive sales performance through KPI management and data‑driven decision making.
• Develop, refine and document sales processes, SOPs and operational best practices.
• Coach and mentor Sales Managers to build high‑performing teams.
• Monitor enquiry flow, conversion rates, productivity and revenue performance.
• Collaborate with Marketing, HR, Finance, Product and Customer Service teams.
• Identify operational bottlenecks and implement scalable solutions.
• Prepare management reports, forecasts and performance dashboards.
• Ensure an exceptional customer experience throughout the sales journey.

Required profile

• Minimum 7 years of experience in Sales Operations, Sales Management or Commercial Operations.
• Proven track record of leading and developing sales teams.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and stakeholder‑management abilities.
• Excellent leadership, communication and coaching skills.
• Experience in the travel or hospitality industry is a plus.
