About the role

The Manager – Academic Affairs will lead and support key academic operations at a premier institution focused on leadership and public policy. This senior position ensures effective coordination, implementation, monitoring, and continuous improvement of academic activities and standards.

Key responsibilities

• Organise and coordinate academic activities across the institution.
• Develop, implement, and maintain academic policies.
• Monitor and evaluate academic performance of faculty and students.
• Analyse performance data and provide recommendations to senior management.
• Collaborate with faculty and department heads on improvement strategies.
• Ensure compliance with academic and accreditation standards.
• Support curriculum development and coordinate curriculum reviews.
• Provide guidance, mentoring, and support to students.
• Assist with recruitment and selection of academic staff.
• Promote continuous improvement, academic excellence, and innovation.

Required profile

• PhD or equivalent qualification (mandatory).
• Minimum 10 years of relevant work experience.
• Strong leadership and administrative capabilities.
• Demonstrated mentoring and team‑development skills.
• Data‑analysis and strategic‑thinking abilities.
• Experience in academic performance monitoring and evaluation.
• Ability to work effectively with faculty, students, senior management, and external stakeholders.
