Global Information Management Officer

About the role

HALO is seeking a Global Information Management Officer to lead the design, development, deployment and management of information management and GIS systems across its Indo‑Pacific programmes. The role is based in a HALO office in the region and will support multiple countries, requiring travel and occasional evening meetings to align with global time zones.

Key responsibilities

• Define information requirements, data flows, QA/QC procedures and IM standard operating procedures.
• Design, develop and maintain databases and ETL/ELT tools.
• Support the design, development and testing of data collection forms using Esri ArcGIS (Survey123) or comparable platforms.
• Provide technical assistance to programme teams, ensuring consistent information management practices.
• Travel to programme sites as needed and attend meetings across different time zones.

Required profile

• Currently residing in one of HALO’s Indo‑Pacific regions.
• Willingness to travel frequently and work evenings when required.
• Enjoys working in diverse, challenging environments.

Required skills

• ArcGIS Survey123 (or similar GIS data collection tools).
• Database design and development.
• ETL/ELT tool experience.
• Data quality assurance and control.
