Full‑Time Lecturer in Accounting & Finance (Online)

About the role

Inspire College is seeking a full‑time online lecturer to deliver high‑quality teaching in Accounting and Finance. The role involves creating engaging digital content, assessing student work, and supporting learner success across a range of finance subjects.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver online lectures, tutorials, workshops and academic support sessions in subjects such as Financial Accounting, Management Accounting, Auditing, Taxation and Corporate Finance.
• Develop and maintain teaching materials, case studies, assessments and digital resources.
• Assess student work, provide timely constructive feedback and monitor progress.
• Support students through online consultations and ensure alignment with programme learning outcomes and quality standards.
• Participate in curriculum review, moderation and academic quality assurance activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or related field (Master’s preferred for higher‑level programmes).
• Relevant professional qualification such as ACCA, CIMA, CA, CPA or CFA is desirable.
• Previous teaching or lecturing experience in Accounting or Finance, preferably in an online or blended environment.
• Strong knowledge of accounting standards, financial concepts and their practical application.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Excel or spreadsheet software for financial analysis.
• Experience using accounting software and digital learning tools (LMS, virtual classroom platforms).
• Effective online teaching, student engagement and assessment feedback skills.
