Full‑Stack Software Engineer (Web Development)

About the role

We are looking for a full‑stack Software Engineer to join Hologo’s fast‑moving team building an AI‑driven learning platform. You will work on both the Next.js/TypeScript web application used by students, parents and teachers, and the Laravel/PHP API that powers authentication, learning pathways and subscription billing.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement end‑to‑end features, from Laravel API endpoints to React UI components.
• Develop real‑time AI tutoring flows using LiveKit, handling token minting, session lifecycle and usage metering.
• Build and maintain Stripe subscription billing, including plans, trials, entitlements and webhooks.
• Create reliable queue‑driven background jobs for AI pathway generation, report processing and notifications.
• Enforce role‑based access control and data scoping to protect minors’ data.
• Write unit and integration tests (PHPUnit, type‑safe frontend code) and monitor production with Sentry.
• Participate in technical decisions such as schema design, API contracts and caching strategies.

Required profile

• 2+ years of professional experience shipping production web applications.
• Strong expertise in either modern PHP/Laravel or TypeScript/React (Next.js) and willingness to work with the other stack.
• Solid understanding of relational data modeling, REST API design and authentication/authorization patterns.
• Experience with Redis, background job queues or similar asynchronous processing.
• Product‑oriented mindset with clear written communication skills.
