Food & Beverage Management Support

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Food & Beverage Management Support professional to help turn two community cafés into sustainable, profitable operations. The role focuses on strengthening management, improving financial controls, and enhancing the overall customer experience.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and train café managers and staff to ensure high service standards.
• Oversee menu planning, nutrition levels, and pricing to maximise revenue.
• Introduce and maintain efficient financial reporting and monitoring systems.
• Assist with recruitment, staff scheduling, and performance management.
• Implement bulk‑buying, stock control, and inventory management practices.
• Develop and execute advertising and marketing strategies to attract customers.
• Monitor workplace health, safety, and food‑safety compliance.

Required profile

• Proven experience in catering, restaurant, or café management.
• Ability to train and motivate teams in a community‑focused environment.
• Strong understanding of menu development, cost control and pricing.
• Experience with financial monitoring, reporting and basic budgeting.
• Knowledge of health, safety and food‑safety regulations.
