Financial Reporting & Compliance Analyst

About the role

This position focuses on financial reporting, regulatory compliance, and treasury functions for Tata Communications. The analyst will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure accurate accounting, tax compliance, and timely financial disclosures.

Key responsibilities

• Calculate and reconcile local regulatory fees and manage related audits.
• Handle Sri Lankan tax disputes, assessments, and reconciliations with Inland Revenue.
• Perform pre‑payment accounting, cost accounting, and profitability analysis.
• Oversee treasury operations, cash‑flow management, and inter‑company transactions.
• Prepare quarterly financial statements in line with local accounting standards and IFRS.
• Coordinate employee EPF registrations and statutory documentation.
• Manage revenue accounting, general accrual postings, and general‑ledger reconciliations.

Required profile

• CA, MBA, or equivalent qualification.
• 5‑10 years of finance experience, preferably in a regulated environment.
• Strong interpersonal and stakeholder‑management abilities.
• Knowledge of Sri Lankan taxation, statutory compliance, and banking operations.

Required skills

• Advanced Microsoft Excel (data analysis, reporting, financial modeling).
• Working knowledge of SAP for financial and accounting processes.
• Understanding of IFRS and Sri Lanka Accounting Standards (LKAS).
