Financial Planning Manager Bancassurance

About the role

The Financial Planning Manager Bancassurance will work on‑site in Negombo, creating customised financial and insurance solutions for bank customers. The role bridges AIA’s product portfolio with banking partners to drive sales and support customers throughout their financial journey.

Key responsibilities

• Develop tailored financial plans and insurance solutions aligned with customers’ life, health, savings and investment needs.
• Collaborate closely with bank staff to identify opportunities, drive sales and support bancassurance campaigns.
• Analyse customer financial profiles, recommend appropriate AIA products and monitor portfolio performance.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory standards.
• Prepare sales and performance reports, track targets and provide regular updates to management.
• Conduct training sessions and briefings for bank teams and maintain strong professional relationships with customers and banking partners.

Required profile

• Strong financial planning and analytical skills with the ability to assess risk and evaluate portfolio performance.
• Proven sales experience in financial services or insurance, consistently meeting or exceeding targets.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics or a related field; professional certifications are a plus.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to build trust‑based relationships with customers and banking partners.
