Finance Manager – Renewable Energy

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Finance Manager to lead financial management, treasury operations, and group reporting for a fast‑growing renewable energy platform in Sri Lanka. Reporting to senior leadership, you will supervise an accounting team and ensure accurate financial consolidation across multiple project companies.

Key responsibilities

• Manage utility receivables reconciliation, collection workflows, and monthly escrow waterfall calculations.
• Oversee preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements for each SPV using Microsoft Dynamics.
• Coordinate VAT, SSCL, WHT and income tax filings through the IRD RAMIS system.
• Lead annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting, variance analysis and financial modeling for tenders and capital transactions.
• Coordinate external statutory audits and maintain robust internal controls, including multi‑currency FX risk management.
• Supervise, mentor and develop junior accounting staff while driving process improvements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or related field (Master’s preferred).
• Full professional qualification (CA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) highly preferred.
• 5‑7 years of progressive finance experience, with at least 2 years in a managerial or supervisory role.
• Experience in multi‑entity group finance, project finance or receivables‑intensive environments; renewable energy or utilities background is a plus.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with Microsoft Dynamics or comparable ERP platforms.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Familiarity with international group consolidation processes.
