Finance Manager

About the role

The Finance Manager will oversee the company’s financial accounting, reporting, budgeting, and financial controls, ensuring timely and accurate preparation of financial statements and providing management with actionable financial insights.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and finalize monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports within agreed deadlines.
• Manage month‑end and year‑end closing processes, including provisions, accruals, depreciation, reconciliations and other adjustments.
• Develop, monitor and update the annual budget, forecasts and financial plans in coordination with relevant departments.
• Produce financial analysis, management reports and key performance indicators for senior management.
• Oversee bank, supplier, customer, inter‑company and other balance‑sheet reconciliations.
• Maintain effective financial controls, accounting policies and procedures to safeguard assets.
• Coordinate external audits, prepare audit schedules and respond to auditor queries.
• Handle tax assessments, liaise with tax authorities, auditors, banks and other external stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, statutory requirements and company policies.
• Monitor cash flow, working capital, receivables, payables and overall liquidity.
• Identify financial risks and recommend corrective actions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce or a related field.
• Professional qualification (CA, ACCA or equivalent) is highly advantageous.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant finance and accounting experience, including at least 3 years in a recognised audit firm.
• Strong experience in preparing monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements.
• Good knowledge of accounting standards, financial controls, taxation and statutory compliance.
