Finance Manager

About the role

DIC Lanka, the local entity of a leading printing ink manufacturer, is seeking a Finance Manager to lead financial planning, reporting, controlling and compliance for its manufacturing business. This senior position will work closely with senior leadership to drive financial performance and support strategic growth.

Key responsibilities

• Lead annual budgeting, forecasting and long‑range strategic planning processes.
• Analyse financial performance and provide actionable insights to management.
• Monitor key financial and operational KPIs and recommend corrective actions.
• Prepare monthly management reports and executive presentations.
• Oversee product costing, standard costing and variance analysis.
• Monitor manufacturing efficiency, yield, overhead absorption and inventory performance.
• Manage cash flow, working capital and ensure compliance with IFRS, local statutory requirements and corporate policies.
• Oversee tax compliance and liaise with external consultants and regulatory authorities.

Required profile

• Fully qualified professional accounting qualification (CA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA or equivalent).
• 8‑12+ years of progressive finance experience with significant manufacturing exposure.
• Minimum 3‑5 years in a senior finance leadership role.
• Experience in a multinational manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing costing, inventory management and supply‑chain finance.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of IFRS and local statutory requirements.
• Experience with ERP systems such as SAP.
