Finance Manager

About the role

Soul Coffee Company (Pvt) Ltd is looking for a Finance Manager to lead its finance function across manufacturing, retail, distribution, HORECA and specialty coffee operations in Colombo. The role blends strategic financial governance with commercial insight to drive profitability and support sustainable growth.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Finance Department, providing coaching, performance management and day‑to‑day oversight.
• Develop and implement financial strategies, annual budgets, forecasts and long‑term business plans aligned with corporate objectives.
• Prepare, review and present monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements, management reports and performance dashboards.
• Ensure compliance with Sri Lanka Accounting Standards (SLFRS/LKAS), statutory regulations, tax requirements and corporate governance policies.
• Manage cash flow, treasury operations, working capital, banking relationships, financing facilities and liquidity planning.
• Monitor financial performance against budgets, analyse variances and recommend actions to improve profitability and efficiency.
• Conduct financial analysis, business modelling, product costing, profitability analysis and investment evaluations to support decision‑making.
• Strengthen internal controls, accounting processes and audit coordination to safeguard assets.
• Oversee debtor collections, credit control, creditor management and payment planning to optimise working capital.
• Coordinate internal and external audits and manage relationships with auditors, banks, tax consultants and regulators.

Required profile

• Strategic finance professional with strong commercial focus.
• Proven leadership experience in managing finance teams.
• Ability to work closely with senior leadership and cross‑functional partners.
• In‑depth knowledge of Sri Lankan accounting standards and regulatory environment.
