Finance Executive (Malabe)

About the role

We are seeking a Finance Executive to join our manufacturing and export company in Malabe. The successful candidate will support our finance function by ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance with tax regulations, and effective audit coordination.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with accounting standards.
• Assist with internal and external audit processes.
• Manage VAT/SVAT filings and ensure compliance with tax regulations.
• Perform balance‑sheet reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
• Maintain accounting records using QuickBooks and MS Office tools.

Required profile

• Fully or partially qualified in CIMA, ACCA or ICASL.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting.
• 1‑3 years of experience in a similar finance or accounting role.
• Prior experience with a chartered accountant firm is preferred.
• Proficiency in English and Sinhalese.
