Finance Executive – Hospitality Academy

About the role

The Finance Executive will lead the financial administration of the student lifecycle at Cinnamon Hospitality Academy, ensuring accurate enrolment, fee collection, payroll and reporting. This role partners closely with academic, HR, IT and operations teams to support the Academy’s growth and profitability.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee end‑to‑end financial administration of enrolments, fees, refunds, apprenticeships, internships and hotel placements.
• Manage monthly apprenticeship payroll, student payments and related financial records with accuracy and timeliness.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, P&L management, variance analysis and financial reporting for the Academy.
• Handle day‑to‑day finance operations including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, bank reconciliations, CAPEX, OPEX, assets and inventory controls.
• Partner with marketing and enrolment teams on pricing, costing and profitability to meet revenue targets.
• Ensure compliance with SHMA, TVEC, Cinnamon policies, SOPs and internal governance standards.

Required profile

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Management or related discipline; professional accounting qualification is an advantage.
• Proven experience in financial management, administration or operations, preferably in education, hospitality or a service‑oriented environment.
• Strong stakeholder management, communication skills and attention to detail with ability to manage multiple priorities.

Required skills

• Experience with ERP/financial systems.
• Familiarity with student management systems.
• Proficiency in data reporting tools.
