Finance Executive – Accounting & Payroll Specialist

About the role

Rumex is seeking a Finance Executive to support its fast‑growing software and telecom solutions business. You will be responsible for end‑to‑end bookkeeping, payroll processing and tax compliance while working closely with internal teams and external consultants.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain accurate daily accounting entries and bookkeeping records.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable, perform bank reconciliations and process vendor payments.
• Run monthly payroll, calculate statutory deductions and ensure timely payments.
• Coordinate tax filings in partnership with external consultants.
• Prepare monthly financial reports and assist auditors as needed.
• Keep all financial documentation organized, efficient and audit‑ready.

Required profile

• Minimum AAT qualification (part‑qualified ACCA, CIMA or equivalent is a plus).
• At least 1 year of experience in accounting or finance.
• Solid understanding of bookkeeping, payroll and taxation.
• Proactive, detail‑oriented attitude with a strong desire to learn.

Required skills

• QuickBooks (or similar ERP system) proficiency.
• Advanced MS Excel skills.
• Experience with ERP platforms.
