Field Sales Specialist

About the role

We are seeking a Field Sales Specialist to represent a globally recognized power‑tools manufacturer. This fully remote, customer‑facing position focuses on developing new business, maintaining existing relationships, and providing on‑site support to customers across Sri Lanka.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities throughout Sri Lanka.
• Build and sustain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers.
• Conduct regular face‑to‑face visits, present and demonstrate products, and provide on‑site sales support.
• Understand customer requirements, recommend suitable solutions, and follow up on leads, quotations, and sales opportunities.
• Resolve customer questions and issues promptly and professionally.
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure customer needs are met.
• Monitor market developments, competitor activity, and customer feedback.
• Maintain accurate records of interactions, sales activities, and opportunities.
• Travel within Colombo and, when required, to other locations in Sri Lanka; occasional travel to Singapore for training or meetings.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of sales or business‑development experience, preferably in hardware or power‑tools.
• Experience in field or on‑site sales with regular customer visits.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with business‑level English proficiency.
• Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment.
• Willingness and ability to travel to customer locations; own reliable transportation (motorcycle or car) strongly preferred.
• Valid passport preferred; company may cover passport‑related costs where eligible.
