Factory Accountant

About the role

We are seeking a Factory Accountant to oversee financial accounting activities at our manufacturing facility. The role focuses on ensuring effective financial control and accurate reporting for the apparel production operations.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day financial accounting activities, ensuring all transactions are recorded accurately.
• Maintain accurate financial records and documentation for the factory.
• Prepare financial reports, reconciliations and accounting schedules on a regular basis.
• Monitor factory‑related costs and expenses to support cost control.
• Support month‑end and year‑end closing processes.
• Coordinate with the Head Office Finance team for seamless information flow.
• Assist internal and external auditors during audit engagements.
• Ensure compliance with financial policies, procedures and internal controls.

Required profile

• Part‑qualified ACCA or CA designation.
• Solid experience in financial accounting.
• Manufacturing industry experience is essential.
• Apparel sector experience is an added advantage.
• Strong analytical and numerical abilities.
• Good knowledge of MS Excel and accounting systems.
