Facilities Manager

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Facilities Manager to lead the day‑to‑day operations of our Colombo office. You will ensure a safe, well‑maintained, and fully stocked environment that supports a high‑performance fintech culture.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of daily facilities management, keeping the office clean, organised and functional.
• Manage inventory of supplies, pantry items and equipment, and proactively restock as needed.
• Conduct regular inspections and coordinate preventive and reactive maintenance.
• Handle vendor relationships for janitorial, greenery, maintenance, pantry, IT‑related services, etc.
• Ensure compliance with local health and safety regulations and keep licences, permits and insurance up to date.
• Plan and support office events, team lunches and all‑hands setups.
• Maintain a comfortable, productive environment for an engineering‑focused workforce.
• Track budgeting, financial reporting and cost optimisation.

Required profile

• 4+ years of experience in facilities or office management, preferably in a Grade A commercial building.
• Proven ability to manage multiple vendors simultaneously.
• Strong organisational, multitasking and problem‑solving skills.
• Excellent communication in English and Sinhala (Tamil a plus).
• Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, high‑growth fintech startup.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field is preferred.
