Experienced Litigation Lawyer – UK Civil & Commercial

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Litigation Lawyer with strong UK civil and commercial litigation experience to support our client’s legal practice. The role is fully remote and involves managing disputes from initial instruction through to resolution, providing practical advice and drafting court documents.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a broad range of civil and commercial litigation matters in accordance with the Civil Procedure Rules (CPR).
• Draft pleadings, particulars of claim, defenses, witness statements, applications and other court documentation.
• Conduct legal research and provide clear, practical advice to clients.
• Oversee disclosure exercises, prepare hearing bundles, chronologies and evidence for trial.
• Liaise with clients, opposing solicitors, barristers, experts and courts, monitoring deadlines and procedural requirements.
• Assist with settlement negotiations, mediation and alternative dispute resolution.

Required profile

• LLB, JD or equivalent legal qualification.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in UK civil and/or commercial litigation.
• Demonstrated ability to draft pleadings, witness statements and manage disclosure.
• Strong knowledge of the Civil Procedure Rules and court procedures.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment.
