Executive – Talent Acquisition & Engagement

About the role

A leading FMCG group is seeking a proactive, people‑oriented Executive to manage talent acquisition, employee engagement, reward & recognition and HR services at its Head Office in Colombo.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end recruitment for Head Office positions, from sourcing to offer communication.
• Collaborate with hiring managers to understand requirements and meet vacancy timelines.
• Drive reward & recognition programmes, including planning, nominations and execution.
• Coordinate employee engagement surveys, track participation, consolidate results and support action planning.
• Maintain employee documentation, records, attendance and leave coordination.
• Respond to HR queries and provide timely support to staff.
• Keep employee information up‑to‑date in HRIS and other systems.
• Support employer branding through recruitment campaigns, social media and career events.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or professional qualification in Human Resource Management, Business Management or related field.
• 2–3 years of HR experience with hands‑on end‑to‑end recruitment.
• Exposure to employee engagement surveys such as GPTW or Gallup (advantageous).
• Understanding of employee lifecycle processes and HR documentation.
• Strong communication skills in English and Sinhala.
• Excellent planning, coordination and attention‑to‑detail.
