Executive / Senior Executive – Tax & Advisory Service

About the role

UHY Centra Management Associates is seeking an Executive / Senior Executive to join its Tax & Advisory team in Colombo. The role focuses on delivering tax advisory and compliance services to both individual and corporate clients, while supporting broader business structuring projects.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, review and file tax computations and returns for individuals and corporations.
• Research Sri Lankan tax legislation, circulars and rulings to provide accurate client guidance.
• Assist clients with tax planning, compliance reviews and regulatory updates.
• Participate in advisory engagements such as business incorporation, restructuring and compliance assessments.
• Coordinate with audit teams on tax‑related matters and ensure timely client communication.
• Maintain detailed work papers, meet deadlines and contribute to internal knowledge sharing.

Required profile

• Strong technical knowledge of Sri Lankan tax law, corporate tax, VAT and other statutory requirements.
• Experience in advisory work, including business structuring and compliance reviews.
• Progress toward or completion of professional qualifications (CA Sri Lanka, ACCA, CIMA) or a relevant degree.
• High level of accuracy, attention to detail and ability to manage multiple assignments.
• Commitment to ethical conduct and continuous learning.
