Executive Assistant to Managing Director

About the role

Jigsaw Ensemble is seeking an Executive Assistant to work directly with the Managing Director across five inter‑linked organisations. This launch‑pad position offers early‑career professionals a front‑row seat to a multi‑entity operation and a clear pathway toward a future Chief of Staff role.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the Managing Director’s calendar, priorities and follow‑through across all five entities.
• Maintain a relationship map of institutional partners, investors and stakeholders, tracking follow‑ups and outstanding items.
• Coordinate logistics for meetings, travel and funding‑round activities.
• Represent the Managing Director professionally in external settings as the first point of contact.
• Support business development by identifying potential partners and investors, preparing the Managing Director for meetings and ensuring post‑meeting follow‑up.
• Make judgment calls on priorities with decreasing oversight and own portions of funding‑round coordination.

Required profile

• 2‑3 years of professional experience, early in your career but self‑directed and sharp.
• Career‑oriented mindset with a desire to build and grow within the organisation.
• Confident, articulate communicator comfortable representing senior leadership with investors and partners.
• High energy, quick learner eager to understand systems, technology and governance.
• Ability to keep track of multiple moving pieces across several organisations without dropping details.
