About the role
The Royal College Union Skills Centre is looking for enthusiastic English Language Teachers to deliver a specialised curriculum that builds students' communication confidence and practical English use.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver engaging, interactive English lessons covering speaking, listening, reading and writing.
- Design and use creative activities such as drama, role‑play, storytelling and public speaking.
- Prepare lesson plans, learning materials and supportive resources.
- Monitor student participation, track progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Foster an inclusive, enjoyable learning environment.
- Collaborate with the centre team to continuously improve the learning experience.
Required profile
- Strong spoken and written English communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and presentation abilities.
- Passion for teaching and inspiring young learners.
- Energetic, positive and enthusiastic personality.
- Ability to work with students from diverse backgrounds.
- Creative, adaptable and student‑focused approach.
