Engineering Specialist

About the role

Yokohama TWS is seeking an Engineering Specialist to lead capital expenditure planning, coordinate continuous‑improvement projects and drive operational efficiency across its global manufacturing network.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and consolidate CAPEX budgets aligned with strategic objectives.
• Monitor budget performance and ensure expenditures follow approved timelines.
• Collaborate with Sourcing, Engineering, Production and Finance to plan and execute projects.
• Manage projects from initiation through hand‑over, ensuring proper documentation.
• Lead continuous‑improvement initiatives to reduce costs and enhance productivity.
• Support industrial engineering activities such as work studies, process optimisation and capacity analysis.
• Identify efficiency gaps and propose data‑driven solutions.

Required profile

• Strong project coordination and stakeholder‑management abilities.
• Solid understanding of budgeting, cost control and CAPEX management.
• Familiarity with continuous‑improvement methodologies (Lean, Kaizen, Six Sigma – a plus).
• Industrial engineering knowledge focused on process optimisation and productivity.
