Engineer / Senior Engineer – Cloud Services (Windows)

About the role

Sysco LABS is seeking a technically strong Engineer or Senior Engineer to manage and automate enterprise Windows workloads across multiple cloud platforms. The role focuses on improving reliability, standardising environments and enabling self‑service infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Manage, configure and continuously improve Windows Server workloads on AWS, Azure, GCP and Nutanix.
• Design and implement scalable, standardised Windows infrastructure patterns and hybrid‑cloud integrations.
• Automate vulnerability remediation, security hardening and configuration compliance.
• Develop self‑service provisioning modules and guardrails for Windows workloads.
• Participate in incident, problem and change management, including root‑cause analysis.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering or related field.
• 4+ years of experience in Windows, cloud or DevOps engineering for senior level; or relevant experience for engineer level.
• Strong hands‑on experience with Windows Server administration, Active Directory, DNS, networking and security.
• Proven experience managing production Windows environments and handling complex incidents.

Required skills

• Windows Server administration and troubleshooting.
• Cloud platforms: AWS (primary), Azure, GCP, Nutanix.
• PowerShell scripting.
• Infrastructure as Code: Terraform.
• CI/CD tools: Git, GitHub Actions, Jenkins.
• Configuration management/automation: Ansible/AWX, Chef, Packer.
• Vulnerability management tools: Wiz, Nessus.
• Security hardening (CIS benchmarks) and certificate management.
