EATS Team Lead – Sri Lanka

About the role

Our client, a leading technology‑driven food delivery and marketplace platform, is seeking an experienced EATS Team Lead for its Sri Lanka operations. The role will oversee merchant and delivery‑partner onboarding, drive operational excellence and use data‑driven insights to improve performance and customer experience.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage a specialist team responsible for merchant and delivery‑partner onboarding, coaching and developing members to meet individual and team goals.
• Monitor team performance, productivity and quality, ensuring alignment with business objectives and fostering a collaborative environment.
• Identify process gaps, drive standardisation, automation and workflow optimisation, and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to boost operational efficiency.
• Track, analyse and report key performance indicators, maintain dashboards and business review reports, and generate actionable insights from data.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years experience in a team‑lead or people‑management role.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Marketing or a related field.
• Professional proficiency in Sinhala, Tamil and English.
• Strong communication, analytical, problem‑solving and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Experience in sales, customer support, success or retention within a B2B environment.

Required skills

• High proficiency with Google Workspace, especially Google Sheets, Docs and Slides.
